Producer Information

The cider farm Sommerbauer is located in the middle of the Styrian apple road in Klettendorf of the municipality of Puch near Weiz. The farm has been managed for 2 years by Konrad Werner Sommerbauer. For the production of the cider only hand-picked apples are processed. These are pressed after harvesting or lie on the mash for a few hours, which gives the noble cider a special fullness. The products are fermented in a small neutral wooden barrel and mature there for a few months with the addition of a yeast. The noble musts of the Sommerbauer family can be purchased Ex Hof as well as enjoyed in numerous establishments in Styria. The varietal MA Bonita was fermented after 24 hours of maceration in a neutral wooden barrel and aged on yeast for 4 months.
