Whitley Neill Navy Strength Gin | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: The higher ABV brings forth an amplified botanical scent, particularly highlighting the juniper and citrus elements.

Palate: Juniper takes the lead, supported by a zesty lime peel and layers of spice from coriander seed and angelica root. The sweetness from liquorice root and the bright citrus from dried orange peel round out the flavour profile.

Finish: A balanced, elegant finish with lingering citrus and herbal notes.

Distillery Information

Johnny Neill is an eighth generation distiller, and direct descendant of Thomas Greenall and JJ Whitley. After initially forging a career in investment management, he went on to delve deeper into his family distilling heritage and started on a new career path, founding the popular Whitley Neill Gin brand in 2005.
