Nose: Impressive and charming nose.
Palate: Layers of juniper and barky botanicals are backed by dried orange and lemon peels, with herbaceous, zesty hoppy bitterness nesling beneath.
Finish: Finish is very smooth and long.
Distillery Information
The Ox distillery is a family owned company in the little village of Wenighsbach, east of Aschaffenburg. The restaurant ‘Zum Ochsen’ opened to the public in 1921, the same year the first spirits were distilled. The first Single Malt was made in 2013.
