Aberfeldy 7 Year Old 2014 Cask #581 Cut Your Wolf Loose Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Buttery layers of shortbread and sponge cake are joined by bread dough, fruit-laden pastries, and milky coffee.

Palate: Layers of runny honey and syrupy flapjack are backed by biscuity malt, and a touch of woody oaken spice.

Finish: Rich, roasted malt lingers with toffee and a touch of pepper.

Distillery Information

First planned in 1896 by the sons of John Dewar, Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery is the only Scotch whisky distillery built by the Dewar family. Dewar’s was already a highly successful brand of blended whisky, renowned for its quality, and the company needed more single malt whisky to use in its blend.
