Nose: Honey and a hint of grapes; flowers dominate, complemented by a touch of wood.

Palate: Mild sweetness, harmonious bouquet that lets the wine taste through and is reminiscent of plums and nuts.

Finish: Pleasantly mild with a subtle note of almonds.

Distillery Information

Asbach’s history dates back to 1892 when Hugo Asbach (18681935) founded the company in the town of Rdesheim am Rhein. Asbach, a native from Cologne, learned the distillery trade at the local Export-Company for German Cognac and further improved his knowledge in France.
