It is made from grapes grown in the Armagnac region of France. The Armagnac region of France is located in the Gascony region of southwest France. This region is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Pyrnes Mountains to the north, and the Landes Forest to the south. The process for making this armagnac starts with grapes that are distilled in a copper pot still. The resulting liquid is then aged in oak barrels for a minimum of five years.
