42 year old single grain from the Caledonian distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Xtra Old Particular range – which is reserved for rare, Very well-matured whiskies. This one was distilled in April 1976 and aged in a refill hogshead until August 2018. Only 295 bottles were produced.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Rich and smooth.
