This aejo tequila from Gran Centenario is a 100% blue agave and aged in new French Limousin oak barrels up to 36 months. It is unusual to see this type of oak used for tequila production and is more typically found used to age Cognac. The agaves used were sourced from Los Altos in Jalisco.

Nose: Clove, distinct oak, and white pepper is found on the nose along with caramel and cinnamon.
Palate: Cooked agave characterizes the initial taste. The mouthfeel is slightly buttery and smooth.
Finish: A well-rounded, pleasant earthy finish.
