It was bottled at 46.2% ABV, non-chill filtered and without additional colouring.

Nose Candied oranges lead with stewed fruits, sultanas with a clove whisper.

Palate Subtle cinnamon spice, cereal hints.

Finish Restrained to a smooth end with soothing spice.

Distillery Information

Hellyers Road began in Burnie, Tasmania. Above the town is a road that, back in the 1800s used to be bush. In 1827, Henry Hellyer carved out the bush to create a trail with nothing but the most basic tools. Fast forward to 1999, and a group of dairy farmers in Burnie were so inspired by Henry Hellyer that they created a whisky distillery in his honour.
