One of many sublime independently bottled Cognacs from Hermitage, this 2005 vintage from Chez Richon was double distilled using predominately Ugni Blanc as well as some Folle Blanche grapes cultivated from chalky soil in the Grande Champagne cru. It was matured in 350-litre casks Limousin casks, with the first six to eight months of ageing taking place in new barrels before the spirit was then transferred to older casks.
