Two Sisters, Two Families. “We are two sisters, born and raised in rural Washington State and daughters of farmworker immigrants from Michoacn, Mexico. Between growing up in the lush Yakima Valley farmlands and spending time with our grandparents in rural Michoacn, we learned the hard work of cultivating and making real food. Through Mocel, we share these lessons. Spirits should be made with simple ingredients, crafted in small-batches to capture the superior flavors from those ingredients and designed to connect and share with the people around you. It is the way mezcalero families have been doing it for 400 years and its an honor to work alongside them and share that mezcal heritage with you.”
