Another great expression from Ocho, and the agave used to produce this reposado Tequila was harvested in 2017 from Rancho Los Nopales. It’s the first time in 35 years that the field, which belonged to co-founder Carlos Camarena’s grandfather, has been used to grow agave. It’s surrounded on one side by wild cacti, and as nopal is the Mexican word for cactus, that explains the name Los Nopales.
